Family Festival

Among the many events of Sacred Heart, it seems to be that Family Festival is one of the most highly regarded and highly anticipated of the year. As a new student, an event of this magnitude being hosted in our school and also being open to the public was a foreign concept to me. But once the day came, everything fell into place. With a range of attractions such as band performances, a bazaar, food booths, games, and even a photo booth, Family Festival really pulled out all the stops. 

The food was as diverse as it was delicious, and everyone could find something they loved at the bazaar… but what really stuck out as the main success of this year’s Family Festival was the way it brought the community together. Although it may sound cheesy, having so many people from different backgrounds work together in order to push this event forward was beautiful. The efforts of the parents and volunteers who helped put it together truly did not go unnoticed! Family Festival was a spectacular show of our school’s abilities and a definite hit!
