Risa has been a student of the International School of Sacred Heart since kindergarten and is currently a high school junior. She would like to cover diverse topics from politics and law to film and literature using her experience as a Tokyo Representative in 全国高校生未来会議 (National High School Future Conference) and her Japanese-Mexican background. Her favorite publications include the New York Times, the Economist, New Yorker and 高校生新聞 (High School Newspaper) to which she also contributes as a journalist. Since this is her second year in journalism, she would like to publish more articles than the previous year and continue to grow as a writer for The International.
