Yuzu I.('22)
Yuzu, now a senior, has returned to The International for her second and final year. Despite being fully Japanese and residing in Tokyo, Japan for her entire life, she has been studying at an international school for nine years, making her very fluent in both English and Japanese. Although not fluent, Yuzu has also picked up some German over the years, and has recently added Korean to her collection of acquired languages. As a “third-generation” writer, with her parents and grandfather being former newspaper writers, Yuzu enjoyed reporting for The International in the 2019-20 school year, and is thrilled to be back on the staff list this school year.
