Meguro River
Festivities along the Meguro river were in full swing the past couple of weeks. Stands selling food like yakitori (skewered chicken) and amazake (sweet rice drink) lined the streets as crowds of people gathered along the bridges to take pictures of the famous river. Their cameras captured the hundreds of cherry blossom trees heavy with sakura flowers dipping towards the serene water. The clear skies were blocked by the countless cherry blossoms, creating an ethereal atmosphere. The Meguro river this year, like all years, was a true spring hit.
