I moved here because of my dad’s job.

Where did you come from?

I’m from India but I came from another International school in Tokyo.

Why did you decide to come to ISSH?

I came here so I could pursue my interest in art.

What is your favorite thing about ISSH so far?

Art class.

What is your favorite subject?

English, 2D art, and 3D art.

What is your favorite dessert?

Any cake that my mom bakes.

What is your favorite TV show?

Britain’s Got Talent.

Any interesting facts about you?

My toenails grow upwards and I, therefore, have to cut them frequently in order to avoid them poking holes into my socks.

Mika: 

Where did you come from?

I’m half-Japanese and half-Greek and was already living in Japan. I came to ISSH from a different school for convenience.

Why did you decide to come to Tokyo?

I’ve lived in Tokyo or around Tokyo for the majority of my life.

What is your favorite thing about ISSH so far?

I really like how tightly knit the community seems at ISSH.

What is your favorite subject?

3D art.

What is your favorite dessert?

Cream puffs!

Supernatural.

I’m quite into Greek pop music.

Where did you come from?

I’m Japanese but I came from Taiwan.

Why did you decide to come to Tokyo?

I decided to come to Tokyo because of Sacred Heart’s prestigious reputation. Also, the AP curriculum offered here caught my attention.

What is your favorite thing about ISSH so far?

Everyone’s friendly and super-organized.

What is your favorite subject?

Macroeconomics or Japanese.

What is your favorite dessert?

Green tea ice cream.

Japanese talk shows.

Where did you come from?

I’m half-Japanese and half-Italian. I came from a Japanese school in Tokyo.

Why did you decide to come to Tokyo?

I returned to Tokyo last year because the school I had attended in Ibaraki didn’t have a high school. I also wanted to come back to my hometown.

What is your favorite thing about ISSH so far?

I love how competitive the sports are at ISSH. It’s also great to be back with my classmates that I’ve missed since I left ISSH in 8th grade.

What is your favorite subject?

Art.

What is your favorite dessert?

Tiramisu or Texas sheet cake. 

What is your favorite TV show?

The Walking Dead.

Any interesting facts about you?

I love to playing soccer and listening to music. I’m hoping to major in design or fine arts at college.

My parents both love Japan so we decided to move to Tokyo.
