I like to take singing and acting opportunities because it’s a great way to channel my energy.

My advice to younger boys and girls who want to act is to try out for things. Try out for the biggest role you feel like you have the capacity for. I tried out for the biggest role in the musical Aida (Amneris), and even though I had doubts about it I got the role, and I was really surprised and happy when I got it. So really, never doubt your abilities and go big, because you might end up really surprising yourself.
