Eloise is a senior at the International School of the Sacred Heart. She was born in Miami, FL and has since lived in London and New York before moving to Tokyo in 2022. These contrasting environments have revealed diverse perspectives leaving her with a need to understand and explore points of view that differ from her own. She has always enjoyed writing and was a proud member of her middle school newspaper and an avid participant in NYT student writing competitions before beginning at The International last year. Outside of journalism she also enjoys singing, watching rom-coms, swimming, collecting vinyls, and searching for the best caffeinated drinks in Tokyo. This year, Eloise hopes to level up by conducting her own research for her articles; this includes organizing more interviews, and experiencing article topics first hand whenever possible.
