Minami is currently a junior at Sacred Heart and is in her second year as a staff writer of The International. Born and raised in Japan with a Mexican heritage, she has been a student at ISSH for 12 years. Her interests include traveling, reading, and watching anime. She joined journalism to explore social and political issues in Japan more deeply and to raise awareness through her writing. This year, Minami hopes to level up by developing her interviewing skills and publishing three articles.
