Minami is a sophomore at Sacred Heart and it is her first year as a staff member of The International. She was born and raised in Japan but also has a Mexican background, and has been in ISSH for 11 years. She enjoys traveling, reading books, and watching anime. She joined journalism to research social and political issues in Japan more deeply and to spread awareness. She was also influenced by her elder sister, a former staff of The International.
