Born and raised in Japan, Ren is a junior at the International School of the Sacred Heart and an optimistic new member of The International! Rens’ early years were nurtured by the warmth of the ISSH community, beginning from K3. She later broadened her cultural horizons at a boarding school in Australia (2 years), before eventually returning to ISSH. Her love for writing bloomed from the picture books read to her throughout her childhood, inspiring her to craft her own stories. Today, she continues her passion as a journalist for The International. On top of writing, Ren has always had a deep ardour for music and films, which has cultivated her ability to explore multiple interpretations and perspectives. This year, Ren hopes to level up by expanding her writing capabilities and indulging in the world of journalism.
