Aya is a senior at the International School of the Sacred Heart and has been at ISSH for four years. Aya is Palestinian but was born and raised in Tokyo. Growing up surrounded by the fusion of Palestinian and Japanese traditions, she brings a unique perspective to The International. In her free time, Aya enjoys reading books, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. Aya’s previous works express her thoughts on global issues, specifically in Palestine, and her passion for music. For her final year writing for The International, Aya hopes to continue to write about global issues, media, and entertainment.
