Erika L. (12), Writer and Travel Editor
Erika is a half-Japanese half-Italian high school senior at ISSH. Although she was born and brought up in Tokyo, she prefers nature and the outdoors much more than the urban life. Being the middle child, a.k.a. the outcast of the family, you will often find her talking to animals (who are much nicer than her two sisters). Also being an environmentalist, Erika created “Earth Club”, and implemented “Meat Free Mondays” in her school. Although this will be her first and last year in Journalism, through articles in The International, Erika is excited to share some of the best vegan restaurants in Tokyo, as well as methods on how we can decrease our ecological footprint.
