Linda L. (’26)
Linda is a senior at the International School of the Sacred Heart. Originally from a small town of Qingyuan, she has also lived in Shanghai before moving to Tokyo. In her free time, Linda enjoys playing the piano, hanging out with friends, taking photos, and playing golf with her family. From writing fictional stories in the third grade to becoming a writer of a middle school newspaper publication, Linda has nurtured a passion for writing that has continued to deepen over the years. Now in her third year as a writer for The International, she has explored topics ranging from the imbalance in medical care allocation during pandemic lockdowns to the shift from test-centered to non-test-centered curricula. Having lived in both small towns and busy cities, Linda has seen how often individual voices are lost among the crowd. With this perspective in mind, this year Linda hopes to level up by helping more individuals voice their opinions and concerns through her writing.
