Aditi A. ('24)
Aditi is a senior who has now been a part of The International’s staff for two years. She spends her time reading a variety of historical and political books along with her guilty pleasure, tragic romance. Her passion for Bharatnatyam dance and Carnatic music contributes to her deep interest in cultural arts. Her motivation to become a student journalist came from a picture she stumbled upon: an ensemble of Indian musicians being covered by the BBC. The significance of this image pushed her to think of the world of journalism in a new light, and how our history and our values today can intersect. She sees how powerful the news can be in shaping our individual world views and hopes to make a small contribution to this greater effort.
