Why did you decide to move to Tokyo?

I used to live in Kumamoto and Hiroshima, so I decided that it was time to try out the capital city life here in Tokyo.

Whats is your favorite thing about Japan?

Coco Ichiban Curry Shop

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

Matcha

What is your favorite movie?

“Never Let me Go” by Kazuo Ishiguro

I can speak basic Mandarin.

Why did you decide to move to Tokyo?

My husband was transferred to Japan for his job.

Whats is your favorite thing about Japan?

Its safety. I like that the crime rate here is low.

What are your hobbies?

Sewing, knitting and jewellery making.

Middle School Social Studies, Options, and G12 Values.

Where did you move from?

Courtenay, Vancouver Island. It’s in British Columbia Canada.

Why did you decide to move to Tokyo?

I have always wanted to combine two things I love: teaching and travel.  Moving to Tokyo gave me the opportunity to travel, learn a new culture, and to teach in a great school like ISSH. Besides, who wouldn’t want to live in Tokyo?

Whats is your favorite thing about Japan?

The food, the nice people, the food, the interesting architecture, the food, shopping….did I mention the food?

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

I am actually allergic to milk, so I don’t eat ice cream. My favourite would be mint chocolate chip if I could eat it.

What is your favorite movie?

“The Lord of the Rings”. My daughter and I watch the entire extended versions all in a row once a year.

What are your hobbies?

I love sports of all kinds. I play squash and baseball. I snowboard and mountain bike.  I play soccer, volleyball and basketball. I even bought tennis gear so I could learn to play here.
